Top 5 Accomplishments:
#1: Middle School students identified a need and launched a pilot program for cafeteria composting with the Compost Crew.
#2: 6th grade students partnered with The Center For a Livable Future to learn about aquaponics, and then design and build their own system.
#3: Family Fun Night brought students and their families to our after school event as they prepared healthy foods such as smoothies using some ingredients from our school gardens.
#4: Middle school students identified a need for trash cans on our school yard in order to decrease litter; students helped write the grant and decorated the trashcans before adding them to the schoolyard.
#5: Classes across all grade levels made weekly use of outdoor learning spaces during in-person learning.
